Visiting a new church can be intimidating—finding the parking, knowing where to take the kids, or even just wondering what to wear. We’ve all been there!

Our goal is to make your first Sunday easy and stress-free. We’re not perfect, and we don’t expect you to be either. Come grab a cup of coffee, meet some friendly faces, and see what we’re all about. Where do I park?

Guest parking is located in the first row of the larger parking lot.
Guest parking in the middle parking lot is on the far right hand edge.

What should I wear?

The dress is casual but modest.

Where do my children go?

Children’s life groups are located in the children’s wing. 
During the 10 AM service your children will have the option of attending children’s church or be situated in one the nurseries or stay with the family

How long does the service last?

Our service typically runs for about 75 minutes.

Is the building ADA accessible?

Yes, we do have wheelchair ramps and an elevator.

Will I be asked to stand up or be singled out & read Scripture?

We do ask people who are capable to stand up when we sing, but at no other time will anyone ask you to stand up or make you feel awkward.

What is the worship style like?

Our worship in song is a blend of traditional hymns and modern worship.

Do I have to give money?

No one will ask you to give money. Our time of worship in tithes and offerings is between you and the Lord. We encourage you to give as the Lord leads.

What about Communion / The Lord’s Supper?

Typically we host communion on a quarterly basis, as well as Christmas Eve and Easter. We believe that communion is reserved for those who have made a profession of faith in Christ and are seeking to walk with Him.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

Bringing a Bible or a digital version is highly recommended but we do have pew Bibles.
Scripture is typically placed on the screens, but bringing a Bible or digital version is recommended.

What does your church believe?

Bald Mountain holds to the 2000 Baptist Faith Convention Message 

Is there something for students/teenagers?

The youth ministry meets on Sunday morning at 9 AM and Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM in the youth room.

What is the process for membership?

To become a member of BMBC, we invite you to meet with one of our pastors. Following this initial visit, anyone interested in joining our community will be warmly invited to attend a “new members orientation.” For those transferring membership, we will gladly send a letter of transfer to facilitate your transition. After orientation and upon receiving approval, we will schedule a special date to introduce you to the church family and hold a vote for your acceptance. We look forward to welcoming you!
